What is an Open Studio Skillshare Day?
A guided creative lab designed for photographers, models, and creators who want to grow through collaboration.
Each event blends hands-on skill-building, intentional collaboration, and facilitated creative exploration inside our inclusive studio space. Whether you’re new to collaborating or looking to deepen your craft, this experience is structured to help you feel confident, supported, and creatively energized.
Think of it as creative therapy — hidden inside a confidence-boosting, skill-building event.
How It Works
1. Sign Up Early
Registration closes one week before the event to allow time for intentional collaboration planning. NOTE: This is our most popular event and it always sells out FAST!
2. Plan Together
Participants are added to a private group chat to introduce themselves, share ideas, and plan collaborations ahead of time.
3. Create In Studio
On event day, collaborate within a guided studio environment featuring a curated pop-up theme, studio sets, lighting, and on-site support.
4. Share & Reflect
After the event, participants are invited to share images created during the Skillshare to celebrate the work and community.

THEME: The Wonderland Experience
Step through the rabbit hole and into a world of imagination at our very first family-friendly Skillshare!
For this special event, our studio will be transformed from corner to corner into a whimsical Wonderland, creating endless opportunities for creativity, exploration, photography, and fun. We highly encourage both parents and children to come dressed as their favorite Alice in Wonderland characters to help bring the experience to life and create a truly collaborative adventure.
Whether you're introducing your child to the world of photography, have a young aspiring model in the family, or simply want a unique experience to enjoy together, this is the perfect opportunity to explore our studio, experiment with professional equipment, and learn alongside our coaches in a welcoming, hands-on environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring my own model or photographer?
No, the only thing you need to bring is a positive and supportive attitude (and maybe a few other items to help you get creative).
We assist everyone in collaborating, and have a total of 14 spots available (7 models / 7 photographers). But we do love when people invite their friends to participate!
What should I bring with me?
Let your imagination take over! We suggest bringing anything that will assist you in getting creative... some prepare outfits for specific areas and others just bring a suitcase full of gear, outfits, props, etc.
Photographers don't forget your camera, cards, and lenses! We will have a variety of lighting equipment onsite but your also more then welcome to bring your own gear along.
What happens with the photos after?
We encourage and guide each individual to communicate the intent of the images they create together and decide what the comfortability levels are with displaying the images.
And recommend for everyone to utilize the supplied model releases that we have onsite that provides a general guideline for creators who are unsure.
Is this a family friendly event?
No in order to attend you need to be 18 and older. Nudity is allowed at the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. In some cases we may be able to transfer your ticket to an upcoming event if enough notice is provided and we are able to fill your spot for the current event.
